How monies donated to the United Kingdom Campaign will be distributed. The Siem Reap Food Bank: To purchase and distribute essential food and health items for families in need of food support living throughout the Siem Reap province. Essential costs: To pay for the products being purchased and supplied, plus a few dollars for delivery. We will post regular updates on the UK GoFundMe appeal page. 100% of your donation will go directly to the SRFB to provide families with food support in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The UK GoFundMe (GFM) site was created by Brian Taylor, a SRFB volunteer living in London England (because GoFundMe does not operate in Cambodia). Brian Taylor and Chris Leonard have pledged to donate the cost of all the GoFundMe and bank transfer fees for donations to this campaign. Funds raised through this campaign site are automatically transferred into an English Bank account and then transferred into the Siem Reap Food Banks ABA bank account in Cambodia. To ensure that the Food Bank has a continuous cash flow to purchase food & other essential items throughout the coming months’, monies will be transferred to SRFB’s account on a regular basis as funds become available. Compared to other crowdfunding sites the GFM transaction charges are quite low.
